Pigmo is a family finance app that teaches kids about money through hands-on experience. Parents create chores for their children to earn virtual coins, set up recurring allowances, and manage a reward shop. Kids learn real financial concepts — earning, saving, spending, and giving — in a fun, safe environment. No real money is involved.

Adding a child takes three simple steps:

1. Basic info — Enter your child's name, age, and optional starting balance
2. Learning goals — Choose what your child will focus on: saving, earning, spending, or giving
3. Allowance & reward goal — Optionally set a recurring allowance and a big savings goal

After setup, you'll get a QR code and 6-digit code to link your child's device.

After creating a child profile, a QR code and a 6-digit link code will appear on your screen.

On your child's device:

1. Open Pigmo
2. Tap "Connect to Parent"
3. Scan the QR code or enter the 6-digit code manually

The link code is valid for 24 hours. You can generate a new one anytime from your child's profile.

Kids earn virtual coins by completing chores assigned by their parents and through recurring allowances. Coins can be spent in two ways:

• Reward Shop — Purchase custom rewards created by parents
• Big Reward Goal — Save up toward a larger goal (e.g., a new toy or experience)

All coins are virtual and have no real-world monetary value. They serve as a learning tool to teach kids financial concepts.

Yes! During child creation or from your child's profile, you can set an allowance amount and choose a frequency — weekly or monthly. You also pick the day it's paid out. Allowances are processed automatically, and your child will receive a notification when their allowance arrives.

Pigmo includes structured financial lessons designed to teach kids real money skills. The first lesson, "Learn to Earn," guides kids through educational videos, quizzes, and real chore challenges over multiple steps.

As kids complete lessons and milestones, they earn collectible badges displayed on their home screen. Badges celebrate achievements like mastering earning, reaching savings goals, and building consistency.

Yes. Your data is stored on AWS servers located in the European Union. We use encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, and monitoring to keep your information secure.
